Step by Step Instructions

Create the Card Base using the 6" x 12" piece of Ivory Cardstock. Score the Card Base along the 12" side at 3" and 6". Fold Card in half at the 6" score line, then fold at the 3" score line set aside.

To create the Card Top you will need the following, 6" x 6" Ivory Cardstock, 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Sage Green Cardstock, 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" Prima Annalee Design Paper, 5" x 5" Ivory Cardstock. Set the 6"x 6" Ivory Cardstock aside for later, take the 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" Prima Annalee Design Paper and adhere Foam Dots to the Backside. Layer this piece on top of the 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Sage Green Cardstock, set aside.

Take the 5" x 5" piece of Ivory Cardstock and punch 3 rows x 3 punches across using the Martha Stewart Caning Pattern All Over the Page Punch, be sure to line the punch up so all the punches are straight and even, set aside.

Hand Dye the White Seam Binding using the Tim Holtz Bundled Sage Distress Ink or Distress Ink Reinker. We will be adding a Tutorial on this technique to our How-To Section. Once the Seam Binding has dried cut 3 pieces approx 6" long, these will be your Back Ribbons for your Row of Bows. Using the Bow-it-All secure your first Back Ribbon using the Helping Hands Clips onto the Helping Hands Pegs. Create your first 2" Bow using the Single Bow Instructions, then slide this bow to the left and create 2 more bows onto the Back Ribbon. Once you have 3 Bows on the Back Ribbon Remove the Back Ribbon from Helping Hands Pegs. Repeat these steps to create a second Row of Bows. For your third set of Rows of Bows you will only want to create 2 single bows on this back ribbon. Set Aside.

Next we are going to make our Markings for the placement of the Bows. Take the 5" x 5" Punched Ivory Cardstock and lay it on top of the layer stack, center it over the Prima Annalee Design Paper. Take a pencil and mark in the center of each of the large punched circles. Remove the Punched Ivory Carstock and working from the bottom up place the first Row of Bows Ribbon horizontal on the layer stack adhering the ribbon to the back side of the stack using scor-tape or any two sided adhesive. Repeat with the next Row of Bows with the 3 bows on it placing it on the center row of markings, adhere to the back of the layer stack. Repeat this step one more time placing the Row of Bows with only the 2 Bows on it at the top of the layer stack along the markings, adhere to the back of the layer stack. Move the bows so they are centered over the markings on the Prima Annalee Design Paper, for the top Row of Bows place the bows over the markings on the right and left side. Next take the punched Ivory Cardstock and place foam dots on the back side, adhere to the top of the layer stack. Pull the bows up through the large punched holes and slide them into the center of the punched holes.

Using the Bow-it-All wrap a piece of thin wire around the helping hands pegs, create a 3" Multi-Loop Double Bow using the Bow-it-All incorporating the wire into the bow. Remove the Bow and fluff it out add it to the Back Ribbon that is under the center punched circle on the top Row of Bows with the wire centering it to your liking. Set the Layer Stack aside.

For the hanging tag in the center of the card I used Spellbinders S5-148 Decorative Labels Eight die #2 and cut and embossed it using the Sage Green Cardstock. For the second layer I cut and embossed it out of the Ivory Cardstock using Spellbinders S5-019 Labels Eight die #2. I stamped the sentiment onto the Ivory Label using the Bundled Sage Distress Ink, the sentiment stamp is from Justrite Papercrafts CR-03705 Botanical Medallions & Banners stamp set. Add Foam dots to the back of the tag and adhere to the center of the Sage Green Label. I used a piece of matching embroidery floss to tie the tag onto the center of the large bow so it can hang freely.

Next create your bottom layer stack, here is the stacking order - 5 1/2" x 3" Sage Green Cardstock, 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" Prima Annalee Design Paper, 5" x 2 1/2" Ivory Cardstock punched with the Martha Stewart Caning Pattern Punch 3 times in the center of the layer. Pop each layer up using foam dots. Create the tag using Spellbinders S5-147 Resplendent Rectangles die #2, cut and emboss the tag then I used the Happy Birthday stamp from Justrite Papercrafts CR-03815 Large Fancy Sentiments Stamp Set, I stamped it using the Bundled Sage Distress Ink. I created 2 more Single 2"bows using the Bow-it-All and adhered them to the sides of the tag. I used foam dots to adhere the tag to the bottom layer.

To assemble the card top, take the 6" x 6" piece of Ivory Cardstock and the Card Top Layer Stack, add foam dots to the back of the layer stack and adhere it to the 6" x 6" Ivory Cardstock. Take the Card Base and using Scor-tape or any other Double sided adhesive add it to the front of the card only in the area under the 3" score mark. Remove the backing from the tape and adhere the Layered Card Top, lining it up with the bottom of the front of the card base press firmly in place. Next open up the card and add the Bottom Layer stack centering it evenly with the bottom of the inside of the card. Add the Antique Rose Bead to the center of the Multil Loop Bow and add Pearls and other embellishments to the card. You now have a Beautiful Easel Card with Rows and Rows of Pretty Bows.

To create the matching Punched box take a piece of 7 1/2" x 10 1/2" Ivory Cardstock and score at the 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10" markings along the 10 1/2"" side of the cardstock. Rotate the Cardstock 180 degrees and score at the 2 1/2" an 5" markings. Next score along the 2" score line down to the top score line of the 3rd row of squares. Repeat scoring along the 5 1/2" score line. Repeat these steps scoring from the 8" score mark down to the bottom for both score lines. This will create your flaps for you to glue the box together.

Cut away the cardstock from the corners cutting from the 2" score line down to the 5 1/2" score line on the left side of the box and from the 5 1/2" score line down to the 5 1/2" score line on the right side of the box. Next cut away the bottom corners starting at the bottom of the cardstock cut along the 2" score line up to the 8" score line then cut horizontally along the 8 " score line removing the corner, repeat on the right side of the box cutting away the corner at the 5 1/2" score line up to the 8" score line and then cut horizontally across the 8" score line removing the corner. Cut Flaps up to the next score line for all 4 sides and the flap. Cut away the small corner squares on the flap. You should have a piece of cardstock that looks like a "T", fold all the score lines to the inside of the box. Next punch out the centers of all the squares, if you would like a solid bottom to the box do not punch the center square of the horizontal row of 3 squares that cross the "T". Add Adhesive to the Top of the flaps on the bottom square and the 3rd square up, fold flaps in and adhere sides to the flaps. Fold down the flaps on the top and tuck into the box. Add your special gift to the box and tie a Pretty Bow created using the Bow-it-All, to the top of the Box using the Gift Wrapping Technique measuring your Back Ribbon to go around your box. Secure and add Embellishments to your Box. You now have a Beautiful Gift Set to Give to Someone Special!
