Using the following Spellbinders Dies and the extra piece of White Cardstock cut out the following pieces to create the Sentiment Layer Stack. I used the Grand Calibur and the Large Plates Set so I could cut all of my pieces at the same time but Remember Spellbinders Dies are Universal and work in most Die Cutting Machines. Be sure to use wax paper between the cardstock and the die this will allow for easy release of the Die Cut Pieces. Die Cut the following: Spellbinders Die #S5-189 Majestic Labels 25 use die#4 and Inset Die #3, Spellbinders Die #S5-191 Decorative Labels 28 Die #2, Spellbinders Die #S5-189 Majestic Labels 25 Die #2 and Spellbinders Die #S5-077 Labels 25 Die #2. Be sure to Cut and Emboss the Dies, Carefully remove the die cut pieces from the dies and remove the wax paper then return the die cut piece back into the die for stenciling. Take the Spun Sugar Distress Ink Pad and the Ranger Ink Blending Tool and lightly add some soft color onto all of the exposed areas of the Die Cuts. I use a swirling motion and walk the ink onto the paper so it blends nicely. Once you have the pieces inked up to your liking let them dry just a bit and then remove them from the dies. If you want to at this time you can add more ink to the die cuts.
Create the Sentiment Layer using the following Die Cut Pieces going from the Bottom Up, Spellbinders Die #S5-189 Majestic Labels 25 die#4 and Inset Die #3, Add foam dots or squares to Spellbinders Die #S5-191 Decorative Labels 28 Die #2 and adhere to #S5-189 Majestic Labels 25 Lg Die Cut piece. Next stamp the Sentiment using Memento's London Fog Ink Pad onto the Die cut piece that was cut using Spellbinders Die #S5-077 Labels 25 Die #2. For my Sentiment I used the "Just Because" Stamp from Justrite Papercrafts Large Fancy Sentiments Clear Stamp Set #CR-03815. Next take the piece that was die cut using Spellbinders Die #S5-189 Die #2 and cut it in half, add a foam dot to each cut end and adhere to the right and left side of the Labels 25 die cut piece that you just stamped. Add Foam Dots or Squares to the backside of this piece and add this layer to the top be sure that it is centered. Set this layer stack aside.
Next we are going to create this Sweet Shabby Vintage Multi Loop Double Bow with a Back Ribbon using the Bow-it-All. Follow the Step by Step Instructions for setting up the Bow-it All to Create a 5" Double Bow with a Back Ribbon. Once you have the Bow-it-All set up, go to the Multi-Loop Double Bow instructions in the Manual and follow the easy Step by Step Instructions to Create your Perfect Bow using your Hand Dyed Seam Binding or Ribbon that you created using our simple Step by Step instructions in our Match it Up Tutorial. Once you have your Bow completed remove it from the Bow-it-All and Fluff it up by giving it a little shake. Next take the Back Ribbon and run it through the hole in the center of the hole at the top of the Sentiment Layer stack carefully pulling the back ribbon all the way thru until the Bow lays on top of the Layer Stack. Add Foam Dots to the Back of the Sentiment Layer Stack and adhere this layer stack on top of the Card Top Layer Stack placing it where you would like it. Next take the Back Ribbon and create a V shape at the top of the Card Top and adhere the ribbon to the back of the Card Top using Scor-Tape. Your Card Top is Complete and is ready to be added to the Card Base. Adhere the Card Top to the Card Base using Scor-Tape or your favorite 2 side Tape or Glue.
Next create a "Bow Pin" using the Oval Pearl Stick Pin and add some of your favorite Beads and Pearls. I use a clear rubber Jewelry Stopper to hold the Beads and Pearls in place. Place the "Bow Pin" through your Bow and add a Pin Cap to the Bottom of the Pin to avoid anyone from being stuck.
Next Create your Inside Layer Stack using the remaining pieces of Cardstock. Stacking from the Bottom up, 1 piece of 5 3/8" x 7 3/8" Gray Shimmer Cardstock, 1 piece of 5 1/8" x 7 1/8" Pink Textured Cardstock, 1 piece of 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" Donna Salazar Antiquities Design Paper. I did not use Foam Dots for my inside Layer Stack, I just glued each layer together. Decorate your inside with a Sentiment, Pearls, Bows or any other type of embellishments and Send it off to Someone Special!
